Daywitness never fills in a day it did not see. A day is left to confirm when there is no location for it, when the only locations are close to a border, or when you were likely in the same place before and after. Confirming takes one tap from Today or from the calendar.
In iPhone Settings › Daywitness › Location, choose Always. The app uses Apple's low-power updates: it wakes when you travel a long way or arrive somewhere.
Yes. Add your days and stays by hand. Every counter, the planner and the reports work the same.
Often, yes. Most rules count any part of a day. The UK counts where you are at midnight, and the US foreign earned income test counts only full days. Each counter uses its own rule, and the day detail shows how each one counted it.
Each counter shows its official source (law, regulation or tax agency guide), the date it was read and a quote. If an official source does not give a number of days, the app counts the days and shows no limit.
Full Access is available as a yearly subscription (with a free trial for new subscribers), a monthly subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase that never renews.
Manage or cancel a subscription in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions. If the subscription ends, Daywitness keeps recording your days; counters, planner, reports, widgets and alerts reopen when you renew. Use Restore purchase in Settings after changing iPhone, for a subscription or the Lifetime purchase.
Turn on iCloud backup (Settings › Backup) or export a backup file, then use Restore from iCloud or Import file on the new iPhone.
